Playing polo pony stallion.
Arrayan was placed second in "La Marcha" in Uruguay as a three year old. This is a 750Km endurance race, to be completed in 14 days, at a minimum speed of 10Km an hour. Stallions are required to carry 17.5 stone and live of the land, receiving no supplementary feeding for the duration of the race.
He has also placed in dressage and endurance in the UK with a small lady rider.
He is currently playing polo out of Border Reivers Polo Club. In the first three tournaments of 2008 he has been on the winning Scottish vs English Hunts team and also the winning low goal team at Edinburgh's Spring Tournament. At Perth's Spring Tournament he was in the runners-up team for the low goal section and was awarded overall "Best Playing Pony" for the entire two day tournament. We were particularly pleased as there were ten teams and well over one hundred ponies taking part.
He has an Incredible temperament and is extremely sound and tough. This horse is an absolute joy to own and work with.
One of only a handful of Criollo stallions in the UK and a superb example of the breed.
