Chamfron Aguacero sold
Aguacero was safely delivered to his new home with vet Jo and Rupert Gourley, Jo already owns Chamfron Viscacha and has found out these Arrayan Numa foals are just a little addictive!
New broodmare
New mare Midnite Harmony joins our broodmares, she is a liver chestnut, part bred Quarter horse and she arrived with her colt foal at foot Crioch Kestrel (pending) by Adohr Tawny Owl. They have now been weaned and the foal will be offered for sale.
Scotsman newspaper
My photo of the broodmares in the mist made it into the Scotsman Winter Freeze Frame photography competition supplement, not in the prizes this year.
Visiting mare foals
We were thrilled to hear that Carol McLeans pony mare, Poppy, had foaled down a palomino blanket spot by Exbury Ghost in April. He has been named Touched by Midas

Border Reivers polo club also announced the safe arrival of a bay roan filly by Arrayan Numa out of the thoroughbred polo mare Jamaica.
Gelding time
Chamfron Cactus Jack and the bought in colt Crioch Kestrel are now both geldings.
Chamfron Wakazashi sold
Chamfron Wakizashi headed of to her new home in Cumbria with Tessa Scott, she will be aimed at dressage and show jumping but for the moment she is continuing to tower over her herd mates.
Visiting mare foals
We were thrilled to hear of the safe arrival of a blue roan colt by Arrayan Numa out of the solid appaloosa mare Wearview Gypsy for Janey Martin.
Crioch Kestrel sold
Crioch Kestrel has left for his new home in September. He will be ridden western with Stephen Edge. He had turned into a super natured little horse and we are looking forward to seeing what his dam, Midnite Harmony, throws to Arrayan Numa in 2012.
Glendale show
Chamfron Kukri placed fourth in the two year old hunters at Glendale Show with his owner Gemma Hope.
Chamfron Compostela backed
Chamfron Compostela came in to be backed and was incredibly easy, going back out in the field after just six days work. She had hacked to the bottom of the drive on her own and had a polo stick swung off her but was still growing and will now come back in, in the spring.
Appaloosa calendar
The Appaloosa Calendar 2012 has now been published and features Chamfron Snow Goose.
Scottish Appaloosa show
Chamfron By Dand had an excellent day out at the Scottish Appaloosa Show for owner Rebecca Crump. He won the three year old class and went male in hand champion. He was also second in the handy pony and third in the three and four year old novice ridden class.
Chamfron Cactus Jack sold
Chamfron Cactus Jack is now happily settled in his new home with Dean Scott in Cumbria. Such an easy going youngster, I look forward to seeing how he gets on.
Chamfron Firefly sold
Chamfron Firefly is the first foal of 2012 to leave for her new home and she joins her full brother Chamfron By Dand in Perthshire with Rebecca.
